Grundig 22 cm full range driver CKS magnet

For many of their drivers Grundig chose magnesium cast frames (just as Siemens did). Magnesium is a very light and stiff material. At the same time it is highly reactive. You will find that most of these frames have oxidised to a greater or lesser extent. Magnesium oxide looks like a white powder. You get an idea of what it looks like from picture number four.
