Studiokombination O17 coaxial loudspeaker

The O17 was made by the VEB Rundfunkwerk. We were informed that the speaker was designed by an engineer named Dr. Orth. This was the first speaker using the felt cloth in front.

Note the semi transparent plastic surround (picture 7) which is different from the surround of the later drivers of this type. Also the cross over is constructed in a different way than the later models.
