Zeiss Ikon 50 cm Loudspeaker AlNiCo version

The surround is made of fine leather. I was once told that it is goat leather but I can't verify this. 

   
Paper cone originally treated with Shellack. Note the interesting stucture of the cone. Also note the ZI-characteristic little "dustbag" just underneath the phenolic spider to protect the voice coil from dirt.
