ZEISS IKON cinema baffles IKOVOX A Typ 31-17 (A)

The pictures show an extremely rare pair of Zeiss Ikon cinema baffles. These are the "real" Zeiss Ikon drivers. They were produced during the mid and late 1950s. The height of the baffles is 172 cm. Each unit bears two 12" full range drivers/woofers plus two 8" tweeters. The cross over is as simple as can be: just one 4uF cap in front of the tweeters. The caps of both baffles are made by Siemens and are both dated 1/57.
