| Message: | Greetings from Chile Southamerica. Very interesting page with outstanding photos. The biggest German Loudspeaker manufacturer was Isophon (50's, 60's & part of 70's) the interesting thing is that Isophon made all components "inhouse", e.g: Coils, Cones, frames and even magnets. They had their own magnet production plant. I have some German Loudspeakers (Loewe, Heco, Graetz, Loewe, Saba and of course Isophon). I'm not shure if Grundig made loudspeakers or bought them from WIGO or Braun. Congratulations.!! Eine sehr gute webseite, sehr gute Informationen und die Fotos sind einfach SUPER!! Maybe you could add an option for commenting under each speaker type so people could share their impressions, recommended enclosures, tested combinations etc. It should have that "distorded letters" anti spamm thingie. I forgot how they call it.

| Message: | You have a wonderful and informative homepage. These vintage speakers I'm sure are certainly rewarding to listen to as it is to look at. My friend owns a pair of Isophons which are probably the best full bodied sounding speaker I had ever come across. Vintage speakers simply puts shame to modern day speaker technology. Speakers of the past has a unique sound like no other and definitely an option to be reckoned with. Keep up the good work!!! |
