Well Guys , Like your dedication to me nothing has the mids of where we live more than the old Grundig and Telefunkens of the late 60's and 70's which incluged most often Dortmund mids I would like to find the paper cone Mids that were about 4 or 5 inches that seemed to hit highs better than most tweeters Cheers, Stan

Greetings from Chile Southamerica. Very interesting page with outstanding photos. The biggest German Loudspeaker manufacturer was Isophon (50's, 60's & part of 70's) the interesting thing is that Isophon made all components "inhouse", e.g: Coils, Cones, frames and even magnets. They had their own magnet production plant. I have some German Loudspeakers (Loewe, Heco, Graetz, Loewe, Saba and of course Isophon). I'm not shure if Grundig made loudspeakers or bought them from WIGO or Braun. Congratulations.!!

I'm a mixing engineer in Japan. Deep impression was received to your web site. I would like to make a link to your great wabsite from my blog " http://german-modules.de-blog.jp/ ". Let's complete "Vintage German Recording Modules" of greatest treasure with DIY. It is the only DIY guide for Vintage German Modules in Japan. Many Pix, pin-out and topic inside. Please enjoy.

Hi, I have a pair of Isophon P 38 A that I used in my bass rig back in the late 60th with my band The Boots. Great speakers and they are still working just fine. I don´t use them any more and plan to offer them for sale. What would be the right asking price for these pair of vintage speakers in perfect working order and still looking like new? Great site, keep up the good work! /Roland in Sweden

Thank you for spreading the word. I have always been happy with Alnico, never touch ceramic or nib, but lately bought Graetz field coils. The sound got me typing into google and I find I am not going mad after all.
