30 cm Klangfilm speaker with monstrous field coil

This speaker is a mystery. It was used in a cinema in Austria. I have no idea when it was built. Maybe the last of it's kind? This is a back breaker - nothing worse than lifting it! DCR of the voice coil reads 4,3 Ohms, DCR of the field coil 1,05 KOhms. The "Typ"- and "Fabr.-Nr" fields on the little nameplate are empty.
