Nora

The history of Nora is a tragic one. The roots go back to 1883 when H. Aron establishes an experimental workshop in Berlin. The name Aron was obviously jewish, so that the company decided to have to company name Nora (= Aron the other way round!) during course of the terror regime of the Nazis in Germany. In fact, the son of the original founder, was put into a concentration camp until he is willing to "sell" the Nora company to Siemens-Schuckert in 1935.

ノーラの歴史は悲劇です。そのルーツは、H.アーロンがベルリンに実験的なワークショップを設立した1883年にさかのぼります。アーロンという名前は明らかにユダヤ名です。そのためナチスがドイツをテロ支配する過程で、会社はノーラという社名に変更することに決めました（Aronを逆から読めば、Noraとなります）。しかし実際は、創業者の息子は、1935年に自ら進んでノーラ社をジーメンス－シュッケルトに「売却」することに同意するまで、ずっと強制収容所に入れられていたのでした。
