RFT baffle with two 20 cm full range drivers and tweeter

A wonderful baffle to be used in smaller rooms. This RFT 2158 ferrite full range driver is a great example to argue against the dogma of "AlNiCo only". The driver is neutral in it's tonal qualities, yet full of temperament and surprisingly good bass performance. Please note, that the bottom full range driver has been set in an angle of 5° inward to the listener's position. The tweeters (RFT P 551) are supposed to be on the outside while listening. The plywood used is 12 mm African Limba, a rather light wood. It has been finished on the front side with real shellack in a slightly shiny manner. Size of the baffle is 63 x 31 cm. DCR reads 2,3 Ohms for both baffles. (> See similar project with three 2358/side).

比較的小さい部屋用の素晴らしいバッフルです。このRFT 2158 フェライト・フルレンジ・ドライヴァーは「アルニコ　オンリー」というドグマに異論を挟む素晴らしい一例です。このドライヴァーの音質はナチュラルで、しかも気質の良さと低音の汚毒ほどよいパォーマンスを十分に備えています。下のフルレンジは、リスナーに向けて5°の角度でセットされており、リスニングに際しては、トゥイーター(RFT P 551)は外側に位置するように想定されています。使用合板は、12 mm アフリカ・リンバ材で、質量はどちらかというと軽い方です。バッフル・フロントは、本物のセラック塗りで、かすかな光沢仕上げです。バッフル・サイズは63 x 31 cm。DCR は、両バッフルとも 2.3 Ohmです。(片チャンネル、2358を３発使った類似したプロジェクトもご覧下さい）。
