Saba double field coil DW42 baffles with Isophon H13 tweeter

A smooth sounding, very homogenous combination of DW42 Saba field coil drivers and the incredible Isophon H13 tweeter (permanent magnet). This Isophon tweeter is bending wave converter. Caps for cutting off tweeter are NOS Siemens dated 1956; 0,5/0,5/1/1/1uF connected parallel. The system needs about 80 VDC/channel to drive the field coils. DCR of voice coils and field coils in the present connection: Baffle 1: 8,2 Ohms/846 Ohms, Baffle 2: 8,3 Ohms/865 Ohms. The size of these Baffles is 80 x 40 cm. The mother baffles, depending on room size should be at least 120 x100 cm. Beautiful sound! Needs further aging nonetheless.

DW42 SABAフィールド・コイル・ドライヴァーとIsophon H13 トゥイーター（パーマネント）のコンビによる、滑らかで、非常に同質的な音。このIsophonトゥイーターは、bending wave コンバーターです。トゥイーターのロー・パス・フィルター・コンデンサーは、１９５６年、未使用のジーメンス製で、0,5/0,5/1/1/1uF でパラっています。フィールド電源は、80 VDC／チャンネル必要です。結線済みの状態で、バッフル１は、ＶＣは8.2 Ohm、ＦＣは846 Ohm、バッフル２は、それぞれ8.3 Ohmと865 Ohmです。このバッフル・サイズは80 x 40 cmです。部屋の広さにもよりますが、マザー・バッフルは少なくとも120 x100 cmは欲しいところです。美しい音です。しかしながら、さらにエージングが必要です。
